TERM-LENGTH & WEEKLY INCURSIONS
The Travelling Fruit & Vegetable Show is your go-to for early learning centre incursions in Melbourne. It's an un-be-LEAF-able program! Our weekly term-based or year-round incursions are the pick of the bunch! The Travelling Fruit & Vegetable Show travels straight to your Early Learning Centre every week throughout the school terms.
Each fun 40-minute session can be delivered for every group/room at your centre, taking the kids on an A-Z adventure of fruit and vegetables.
From Asparagus to Zucchini and everything in between! Every week we spotlight and have fun with different produce starting with the next letter of the alphabet, all wrapped up in exciting themes like Dinosaurs, Jungle Adventures, Olympic Games, Colours, and Space to name a few.
You’ll also receive weekly summaries of what’s coming up in the sessions (perfect to forward to families), plus our yummy ReciPEA’s featuring the vegetable of the week. And best of all, fresh seasonal produce is brought right into the room for that hands-on tactile experience the little ones love!

INCLUSIONS
The Travelling Fruit & Vegetable Show travels to your ELC on a weekly basis following the school terms (41 weeks total)
Each weekly session runs for 40 minutes
If you have 1 group/room or multiple groups at your centre, we can deliver a session for each room
The program covers the A-Z of Fruit & Vegetables, from Asparagus to Zucchini and Turnips to Broccolini, if you can name it, we cover it! We even cover herbs too as they are so important and so yummy!
Each week, we explore different fruit and vegetables starting with a letter of the alphabet
For special events such as Easter, Book Week, NAIDOC Week, Christmas, a new Season, we have a specialised theme
The incursions are centred around themes such as Dinosaurs, Jungle Adventures, Olympic Games, etc. which cleverly tie in with the Fruit & Vegetables
Extra A-PEELing bits included are: weekly summaries of which fruit and vegetables will be covered in the upcoming class, for the Centres to forward onto the families. Weekly ReciPEA’s are also included around a vegetable that will be the focus of the session
The seasonal fresh produce will be brought into the classes for the children to have that tactile experience
